go go ubuntu linux 7.04
anyone else out there running linux as a destop platform? post comments about your distro.
Well the job I hated for so long is no longer a problem. got fired Thursday of last week over some stuff that well I kinda had it comming but not realy. thats all i'm going to say about that. I had the job for 4.5 years so what i got fired for probably shouldn't have been a fireable thing being that i had worked there so long. BUT what ever. Got a new job that i started today. its hard work but I dont have to deal with the general public anymore wich is nice. its a pay cut but i'll just have to make due.... Life will go on and I'll still survive.
if you want to leave words of encouragement or what ever please post comments they are welcome.
I will not go into the details of why I was fired they are not that important.

I took this picture afew months ago when i started playing paint ball. I thought it was funny and the fact that I get to say there are balls on my face is pretty funny (i don't really like "balls" on my face its just a joke)

made it with the gimp. (if you dont know dont' ask) its the next best thing to photoshop and its FREE! just google "the gimp" you'll find it.

Well today my computer died. powersupply bit the dust and took my videocard with it. my motherboard is probably toast too. AMD/ATI is awsome they are RMD'ing my GPU and the motherboard is still under warr so i'm getting that replaced too.
I still have my laptop and my other desktop so im still ok but my uber gaming machine is down for the count right now. sad face. i'll keep everyone posted. wish me luck, and let me know if you have any words of wisdom or what ever
There are a few improvments. Icons and look has imporved, all the system icons and programs look new a fresh the sounds and notifications are more adept and automaticaly find sounds and songs on the storage card with out you having to put them in a special folder or convert them to wav format. dialer looks better. today screen seems crisp and has a 3d effect on the top and bottom bar. my favorate improvment so far is the mail it has full html mail message suport now so all your fancy ass emails will be on your fancy ass phone lol. there are afew other behind the pretty display internaly in the software but i'm not going to bore you with tech jargen.
if your phone manufacture offers this download I recommend it highly. I'll keep everyone updated and let you know how its going as I just installed it today.
Well I have an interview for a new job today (wish me luck) its probably not the most glorious job in the world but i'll be making more money than i'm making now pluss its a management job so that will be a good steping stone for the future.
where I work now is getting abit silly with all the new stuff they want us to do, not to mention not paying us anymore for it and actually paying us less! so the way I look at it almost anything has to be better than where i'm at.
the interview is in an hour and a half (9:00am) wish me luck!
